Gingerbread
Shaped Cookies and Chewy Ginger Cookies
Gingerbread first appeared during the middle ages in central Europe and it was in the 15th century that the bread/sweet cake we now recognize as "Gingerbread" became popular. Our shaped cookies are created using replicas of antique wooden cookie boards for a delightful array of shapes and sizes.
For those who love the flavor of gingerbread, but prefer a chewy cookie, we are pleased to begin offering our Chewy Ginger Cookies in November 2009.

Testimonials
Your Springerle even provide an interest to the touch! I like to gently trace the design and appreciate the three dimensional aspect of these unadorned cookies. Finally, I relish the history that goes into the art of Springerle; history that is evident in the process, molds, and designs revealed in the final product. Just imagine how many other people, through different periods in time, over many, many decades have enjoyed cookies with these very same impressions!
