On this site you will be able to view the current offerings from The Springerle Baker. We are offering Springerle that are RARE and quite unique and available only here. This allows you to not only give the gift of Springerle but Springerle with a known past! These will be listed on the "Unique" page.

These cookies had been historically used as betrothal tokens, tellers of tales, and to celebrate daily life.
They first appeared in Europe several hundred years ago. Our Springerle cookies are made using replicas that were produced from some of the best molds from museums in Germany and Switzerland as well as private collections here in the USA.

Our Springerle are soft and chewy inside but crunchy on the outside. Stored in an airtight container, in a cool dry place they will keep for weeks but become hard with age. Traditionally they were to be dunked in beverages.

We use the finest ingredients to make our cookies. Flour, Sugar, Salt, Eggs, Butter, leavening and flavorings. No additives or preservatives are used. Each cookie is handmade by a Springerle craftsman using great care and personal touches, and requires between two to three days to complete.

 Lemon or Traditional Anise (great with Earl Gray tea).
Choose one flavor or mix em up.

2 Pounds (32-40) assorted designs $45.24

*Note : Cookie assortments will be in a variety of sizes and designs.
With hundreds of designs, your assortment may or may not contain some of the same Springerle designs in the pictured assortments. Assortments will reflect the season or occasion for which they are ordered.

Include the following information in your request:
The selection or items you wish to order, the flavor wanted, date delivery is needed by, the shipping address and your contact information including phone number. Orders are usually packed in a crystal clear bag but you may also purchase a gift box for your Springerle if you wish. See these on the packaging page.

1. Send an email with your request to: thespringerlebaker@verizon.net.

2.  We will contact you upon receipt of your order to confirm your request and delivery information.

3. Confirm your order by making payment, either by check, money order or by credit or debit card using Paypal. If using Paypal you will be sent an invoice to pay through Paypal.

4. Payment must be received in advance of order shipping.

5. We will send your order to arrive a day or two before the requested delivery date.


All orders are sent by USPS Priority Mail and are well padded. Priority Mail guarantees delivery in the continental USA in 2-3 days. When your order is mailed, you'll receive an email confirming shipment. *Remember that during the holidays your order will take longer to reach its destination so please order accordingly.
